Since 2024, etc. gallery has organized a residency program focused on research in the field of moving image art. The program provides time and space for the development of independent research and supports connections between artistic practice, curatorial thinking, and theoretical inquiry.<\/span><\/p>\n Participants are selected through an open call by an expert committee. The call is open to artists, curators, theorists, researchers, and students whose work engages with the theory or practice of the moving image.<\/p>\n Residencies are paid, last one month, and take place during the summer months in the gallery and its adjacent office space.<\/p>\n In 2026, we decided not to launch an open call and instead offered the residencies through a curatorial selection made by the gallery team. We invited two artists whose practices closely resonate with both the focus of the residency program and the gallery\u2019s broader curatorial direction.
