How can we awaken stories buried under layers of sediment and time? The final chapter of the Beyond Belief projection series reveals forgotten events that may seem unbelievable or fictitious at first glance. Yet their traces are engraved in the landscape where they took place, which thus becomes a unique testimony and archive. In selected art films, the mountain not only represents a specific setting for events, influencing their course with its character, but also a unique figure of historical narrative.
