The curated film selection follows zoo-social motives in which more-than-human agents are instrumentalized, transformed into things or machines. In this conception, animal species become working tools of human conquest and exploration of the planet. These more-than-tools then figure in the material dimension, whether in food production, pharmacology or mining, but also symbolically as instruments of power.
