In her work, artist Lea Petříková appropriates various forms of moving image to tell the viewer stories about the medium of film and its nature, about the (im)possibility of capturing and transmitting the visible, and about the elusiveness of experiences that are beyond our comprehension.

Opening scene: an online lecture begins and a strange group of people meet on a mountain. The pursuit becomes the film – what used to be the film disintegrates – and academia shudders at the entanglement of meanings. Will the keepers of the Palace of Seeing succeed in returning to the place where they once got lost? The exhibition invites visitors to join an expedition in search of the mystical palace and of personal mythology.
