The etc. gallery continues in its long-term research project called Politics of Truth that has started in the end of the 2017. The program focuses on the presentation of contemporary artists experimentally and analytically working with instruments of documentary videos. The research project is called Politics of Truth and its third thematic block has a subtitle The Image of the Other. The new gallery program will not focus on monthly exhibition projects, as it has been so far, but on individual screenings that will be accompanied by lectures and discussions with theoreticians and exhibiting artists.

Who is “the Other” today? And how does the camera work with his or her image? Third chapter of the research project Politics of Truth is concentrated on the intersection of documentary approaches with the postcolonial thinking and inclusion of communities defined by cultural differences. The program will consist of evening screenings and a lecture by philosopher Josef Fulka.
